Owens Peak and the Five Fingers - Fine Art Print

from $16.00

Owens Peak is the name of the highest point in our local bit of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. It has always been striking to me because its patches of lighter color are different from the mountains around it, and because most of the year the sun seems to set just behind its summit. There is a sketchy trail you can hike to the top; my husband has done it, I have not.

We have had many family adventures driving our truck up to Five Fingers, a more local attraction just outside of Inyokern and at the start of the road that leads back to Owens Peak. Rock scrambling and foliage hunting opportunities abound in those craggy outcroppings.

The reference photo for this painting was taken from the south side of Ridgecrest, where the Five Fingers line up with the view of Owens Peak.

This fine art reproduction is created using a giclee (gee-clay) printing method, using light-fast inks on high-quality archival paper.

Available 5”x7”, 8”x10”, and 11”x14”

Small pieces arrive with strong chipboard backing in a rigid flat mailer. Large pieces arrive rolled in a sturdy mailing tube. Most often, prints will be shipped to you directly from my print manufacturer.

Each size may be edited differently; please examine the photos carefully to see how the image is cropped and whether or not there is a white border.

Custom sizing up to 40”x60” is available for an additional fee. Please email doandbe.designco@gmail.com with custom size inquiries.
